In the latest episode of Rewind of the Living Dead, we close out 2024 by revealing our the best of the best for the year including our top 10 horror movies of 2024 plus much more!

Horror movies played a huge part in bringing movie theaters back from the brink after the global pandemic and the industry of scaring people as a business has never been bigger.

2024 might go down as one of the greatest years in horror history with a diverse and interesting slate of films including a few that could get major award consideration heading into 2025.

Franchise films reintroduced us to the Xenomorphs in “Alien: Romulus,” we grinned again in “Smile 2” and we learned to stay silent in “A Quiet Place: Day One.” Silence was the key to movies like “Azrael” while we were possessed by films such as “The First Omen,” “Immaculate” and “Late Night with the Devil.”

Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley seduced us with “The Substance” and we learned to look through the eyes of a killer during “In a Violent Nature.”

We met ballerina vampires in “Abigail” and then the bloodsuckers took on a whole new life in “Nosferatu.” Oh and the Christmas horror film got chopped in two and chainsawed into pieces in “Terrifier 3.”
