A new “Alien: Earth” teaser trailer arrived on Wednesday along with new plot details for the highly anticipated series coming to Hulu in 2025…
Mother Earth is expecting.
That’s the ominous teaser at the heart of the latest look at “Alien: Earth” — the upcoming prequel series based on the classic sci-fi horror franchise from “Fargo” creator Noah Hawley that is set to debut on Hulu in summer 2025.
The teaser doesn’t show much other than the steely teeth and wet grin made so familiar by the Xenomorph in many past “Alien” films but the new teaser also came along with some fresh plot details about the series.
“The series is set in the year 2120, When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in the sci-fi horror series ‘Alien: Earth’
As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.”
Sydney Chandler leads the new series as Wendy — a hybrid, a meta-human who has the brain and consciousness of a child but the body of an adult — and the show also stars Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El.
There’s still no exact debut date but the series teaser says Summer 2025 with the show airing exclusively on Hulu. Check out the teaser trailer above.
