There are early reviews out there calling “Longlegs” the scariest film in decades with others comparing the movie written and directed by Osgood Perkins as the best thriller since “Silence of the Lambs” was released.
That’s a whole lot of expectations being heaped onto the new film starring Maika Monroe as an FBI agent trying to hunt down a notorious serial killer going by the name “Longlegs” as portrayed by Oscar winner Nicolas Cage in a role that’s already getting him plenty of critical acclaim.
Given the early reactions to this film, Cage might even find himself up for more awards after audiences finally get a chance to experience this movie.
Ahead of the July 12 release, a final trailer for “Longlegs” has been unleashed and there are more than a few moments that might give you the chills because this film seems like it’s dripping with dread and horrific events happening throughout.
