The first look at the new “Clown in a Cornfield” movie has arrived with a teaser trailer that unleashes a murderous clown on an unsuspecting small town…
Are you a friend of Frendo?
That’s at least part of the premise at the center of the new film “Clown in a Cornfield,” which is based upon the best selling horror novels of the same name from author Adam Cesare.
The adaptation is directed by Eli Craig, who is best known as the director behind the cult classic “Tucker and Dale Versus Evil.”
The new teaser trailer for the movie dropped on Thursday with the premiere set for South by Southwest before landing in theaters on May 9. Here’s the official synopsis below:
“Kettle Springs is already dying — until Frendo, a symbol of the town’s success, decides to speed up the process. Blood will spill, and no one is safe.”
“Clown in a Cornfield” was named as one of Rewind of the Living Dead’s most anticipated films of 2025 during our preview of the year ahead so there’s definitely a lot of excitement surrounding this one.
