Fresh off her run on “The Boys,” Claudia Doumit is the latest addition to the upcoming film “SOULM8TE,” which takes place in the “M3GAN” universe….
From out of control superheroes to out of control robots!
Claudia Doumit — best known for her role on the hit Amazon Prime series “The Boys” — is the latest cast member to join “SOULM8TE” — the first spinoff film from the “M3GAN” universe.
Doumit’s role remains under wraps but she joins a growing cast that includes Lily Sullivan and David Rysdahl in the lead role
“SOULM8TE” is described as an erotic thriller where a man acquires an Artificially Intelligent android to cope with the loss of his recently deceased wife. In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, he inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate. The film feels reminiscent to 90s domestic thrillers but with a modern, technological twist.
James Wan’s Atomic Monster and Blumhouse Pictures are producing.
Kate Dolan is directing the film with “SOULM8TE” expected to be far more graphic and explicit than “M3GAN,” which came along with a PG-13 rating when it was released and became a surprise hit earning more than $181 million at the box office. A sequel to “M3GAN” — titled “M3GAN 2.0” — is already in the works with the film set for release in 2025.
Doumit jumps into the horror film after her critically acclaimed role as Vice President-Elect Victoria Neuman on “The Boys” after she first appeared in season 2 and then became a series regular in season 3.
“SOULM8TE” is currently set for release on January 2, 2026.
