McKenna Grace is the latest addition to the growing cast for “Scream 7,” which is set for release on 2026…
The cast of “Scream 7” continues to grow with McKenna Grace as the latest addition to the upcoming sequel due out on February 27, 2026.
Grace is best known for her recent appearances in “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” as well as “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” as well as roles on TV series such as “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Young Sheldon.”
The 18-year-old actor joins a cast that also includes Neve Campbell reprising her role as final girl Sidney Prescott and she’ll be reunited with Celeste O’Connor, who also appeared in the recent “Ghostbusters” films. The cast also includes Isabel May, who is confirmed to play Sidney’s daughter in the film and Asa Germann, who is best known for his role in “The Boys” spinoff series “Gen-V.”
There’s no word yet on who Grace is playing but it’s entirely possible that she could also be another of Sidney’s daughters after her character mentioned “the girls” were safe and sound with their father when she appeared in “Scream 5” back in 2022. The father in question is Mark Kincaid, who was portrayed by Patrick Dempsey in “Scream 3” and he’s also been in talks to potentially return to the franchise.
Not much is known about the plot for “Scream 7” other than Campbell reprising her lead role as Sidney after sitting out “Scream 6” due to pay disputes with the studio.
Now she’s returning with original “Scream” screenwriter Kevin Williamson directing the latest installment in the franchise with a script from Guy Busick, who also penned “Scream 5” and “Scream 6.”
Production on “Scream 7” is expected to start in early 2025.
