Kate Siegel goes behind the camera for the first time to direct a segment in the new “V/H/S: Beyond” anthology due out in October…
The long running ‘V/H/S’ horror anthology has welcomed a lot of talented writers and directors to the series and the next installment is no different.
“V/H/S: Beyond,” which is putting a sci-fi spin on the series, is set to debut on October 4 on Shudder with the full lineup of talent leading the charge for this new anthology of short films.
A couple of names that pop out immediately are husband and wife Kate Siegel and Mike Flanagan working together on this series but in slightly different roles than usual. “V/H/S: Beyond” serves as Siegel’s directorial debut for her segment titled “Stowaway” with a script from Flanagan.
“Very exciting news, party people!!!” Siegel wrote on Instagram. “My directorial debut coming this October. I’m real proud of this one y’all. Get ready for the horros on VHS Beyond!!!”
Of course, Siegel has starred in a number of films and TV series led by her husband including a recent role in “The Fall of the House of Usher” as well as “Midnight Mass” and “The Haunting of Hill House.” Now Siegel steps behind the camera to direct her upcoming segment for the latest “V/H/S” installment.
