Legendary horror magazine Fangoria has announced the nominees for the upcoming 2024 Chainsaw Awards, which will air on Shudder…

There are a lot of awards these days — Rewind of the Living Dead has our own at the end of every year — but legendary horror magazine Fangoria has one of the most widely accepted and revered awards show in all of entertainment and the nominees for the 2024 Chainsaw Awards have now been revealed.

The annual show airs live on Shudder with numerous categories spanning film, television, acting, writing and even recognizing debut directors, streaming films and much more.

“Though the FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards have been around for over 30 years, our current age of horror has delivered a high volume of next-level entertainment the likes of which fans have never seen,” FANGORIA’s Editor-in-Chief Phil Nobile Jr. said in a press release “Fans will have their work cut out for them, as choosing the best of the best from this genre has truly never been more difficult – or more fun.”

Fans will also decide “Best Kill” with a write in vote for the awards show.

Perhaps the biggest change to the 2024 Chainsaw Awards is a shift for the show to happen in October, which expands the window for eligible films and shows being nominated. Fans can vote on the Chainsaw Awards through this link. Voting closes on July 20.
