Damien Leone revealed that he’s hard at work on the script for “Terrifier 4” and that will be the final chapter in the “Terrifier” saga but he will finally explain Art the Clown’s origins…
“Terrifier” creator Damien Leone celebrated his birthday on Wednesday but he was the one handing out presents.
First and foremost, the writer and director revealed that he’s officially started work on the script for “Terrifier 4,” which follows the massive success of both “Terrifier 2” and “Terrifier 3.” Leone promised that “Terrifier 4” is going to provide even more shocking moments and terrifying scares but he also confirmed that this is set as the final chapter in his bloody horror saga.
In addition to that news. Leone also promised that he is going to reveal Art the Clown’s origin story to explain where the murderous mute came from before he started savagely killing in Miles County. Read Leone’s full statement below from his Instagram:
“Thank you all so much for the amazing birthday wishes,” Leone wrote. “I’m truly blessed to know so many wonderful human beings. I might as well take advantage of this day and give all of the Terrifier fans a little present in return – The script for Terrifier 4 is under way and it is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga.
“I’ve personally never been so excited to see one of my own scripts translate to the screen like this one. P.S. I will finally reveal Art’s origin in this entry. Thank you all again.”
While a sequel to “Terrifier 3” was already announced, Leone had previously teased that his conclusion to the story might end up taking two films rather than just one. It appears he’s found a way to condense his final chapter into one film, which is now dubbed “Terrifier 4.”
There’s been no official word on returning cast members but it’s expected that David Howard Thornton will reprise his role as Art the Clown and Lauren LaVera should be back as Sienna Shaw. Beyond that, there’s no telling who might pop up in this upcoming film from Leone.
Expect more updates on “Terrifier 4” once Leone finishes the script and prepares to move into production on the highly anticipated horror sequel.
