The first full length trailer for the upcoming “Wolf Man” film has been unleashed with Leigh Whannell returning to terrify audiences following his adaptation of “The Invisible Man”…
What if someone you loved became something else?
That’s the premise at the heart of the new full length trailer for “Wolf Man” — the new film from “Saw” co-creator Leigh Whannell, who was also responsible for the smash hit “The Invisible Man” back in 2020.
The new film stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner and Matilda Firth in the three lead roles with a script from Whannell and Corbett Tuck.
Here’s the official synopsis for “Wolf Man”:
“Blake, a San Francisco husband and father, who inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father vanishes and is presumed dead. With his marriage to his high-powered wife, Charlotte fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger.
“But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without.”
The new trailer gives us our first real look at Blake’s transformation into the Wolf Man as he goes after his family when they try to escape.
The cast for the film also includes am Jaeger (The Handmaid’s Tale), Ben Prendergast (The Sojourn Audio Drama) and Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man), with newcomer Zac Chandler, Beatriz Romilly (Shortland Street) and Milo Cawthorne (Shortland Street).
Check out the new trailer and get ready for “Wolf Man” to land in theaters on January 17.
