Danny and Michael Philippou burst on the horror scene with their debut film “Talk to Me” and now the brothers from Australia are kicking down the door once again with their new film “Bring Her Back.”
The film stars Sally Hawkins, Billy Barrat, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton and more.
A teaser trailer for the highly anticipated sophomore effort from the Philippou brothers debuted on Wednesday and it’s absolutely perfect.
Why you ask?
Because it tells you nothing and by the end of this teaser, you have absolutely no idea what this film is about but it looks creepy and atmospheric and that’s enough to lure you into the theater.
More studios should take note and use this as a template for how to tease a movie without giving everything away. Here’s looking at you “Abigail”!
