The final season of “Stranger Things” is set to debut in late 2025 with the dates for all episodes revealed along with the first footage …

“Stranger Things” is coming to an end and now we know when.

The long running and hugely popular popular series on Netflix took a full year to film the fifth and final season but with production wrapped at the end of 2024, the show is finally ready to return with the first four episodes dropping on Netflix on November 26.

That’s the first half of the final season of “Stranger Things” with the second half of three episodes then dropping on Christmas Day.

To wrap it all up, the “Stranger Things” series finale will then drop on New Year’s Eve.

Each volume releases at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT

Here’s the full synopsis for “Stranger Things” season 5:

“The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”

When Ross and Matt Duffer first pitched “Stranger Things” to Netflix, the brothers a 25-page document that outlined their plans for the series from beginning to end. This final season seeks to wrap up the entire series and answer all of those questions that still remain.

“The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5,” Ross Duffer said about the final season. “And that’s really going to affect what Season 5 is about.”

While we didn’t get a full trailer yet, Netflix debuted a small bit of footage from “Stranger Things” season 5 along with the debut dates for the final episodes during the streamer’s TUDUM event on Saturday.

Take a look at that and get ready for “Stranger Things” to return with the first four episodes dropping on November 26!
