Canadian filmmaker Chris Nash grew up loving horror films but as he got a little older, he was also drawn to the work of filmmakers like Gus Van Zant, particularly with movies of his such as “Gerry,” “Elephant” and “Last Days.”
After producing several short films and working in special effects on movies like “Psycho Goreman,” Nash decided it was time to transition to make his own feature film with a unique spin on the horror genre.
In his version of a slasher film, Nash opted for a much different approach by taking the point-of-view of the killer rather than the victims being stalked.
With zero musical score and long, uncut shots, Nash crafted his story about a resurrected monster named Johnny, who begins hunting down and eliminating a group of ill-fated campers who dared to wander into his woods….
