“MaXXXine” — the final chapter in Ti West’s slasher “X” trilogy — is getting a physical release with both 4K and blu-ray versions of the film dropping in October.

Following the events in “X,” “MaXXXine” picks up several years later in the 1980s as Maxine Minx attempts to transition from adult star to movie star but her past eventually comes back to haunt her. The film returns Mia Goth to the role she kicked off with “X” before going back in time for “Pearl” — a prequel film set in the same universe.

In addition to Goth, “MaXXXine” stars Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, with Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon.
