One part horror film, one part musical, “Opus” appears to have a little something for everybody.
The latest film from A24 looks plenty weird as “The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri plays a journalist invited to an exclusive performance by a reclusive rock star named Moretti (John Malkovich) after he disappeared from the public eye 30 years earlier.
The teaser in the new trailer says “there is no cult like celebrity” and it appears Moretti has more than a few faithful followers.
The film comes from writer and director Mark Anthony Green and also stars Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, Stephanie Suganami, Young Mazino, and Tatanka Means.
