“Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” officially wrapped production just days ago with the sequel set for release in April 2026…
Production has officially wrapped on “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” with the sequel to the surprise horror hit now set for release on April 10, 2026.
Filming primarily took place in Toronto with Samara Weaving returning in the lead role as Grace — a part she also played in the original where she portrayed a bride marrying into a very wealthy family. But on her wedding night she discovers that her new husband’s family made a deal with the devil that requires them to make a sacrifice to remain in power and she’s forced to play a deadly game of hide and seek in an attempt to survive to see the sunrise.
Obviously, Grace makes it out alive but her husband and the rest of his family … not so much.
“Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” reunited Weaving with the same creative team behind the original as the group from Radio Silence returns with Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directing the film from a script by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.
The new cast for the sequel includes Weaving, Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, David Cronenberg and Elijah Wood.
Plot details remain a secret but from the look of things, there’s plenty more sacrifices to be made when this film lands in theaters next year.
