Andrew Kevin Walker, who is perhaps best known as the writer behind the iconic thriller “Se7en” as well as the film “8MM,” finished an early draft for a new film focused on a satanic serial killer back in 2007.
At the time, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst — yes that one — announced that he was going to direct the film with plans to begin shooting in 2009.
A year later, Durst was no longer attached and instead Gavin Palone was set to direct the film with Eli Roth on board as a producer. More time passed and the film bounced around but never actually got made.
It wasn’t until 2023 when New Regency finally greenlit the movie with Palone still attached to direct but this time it actually got made.
“Barbarian” star Georgina Campbell joined to lead the cast about a state trooper who makes it her personal mission to track down a killer known as “The Satanic Slasher,” who is responsible for her husband’s brutal death …
