A new A24 horror film is coming together with a star studded cast including Hunter Schafer, Emma Corrin and Sophie Wilde with the team behind ‘First Omen” writing and directing …

A trio of horror scream queens are teaming up for a new film from A24 with the writers and directors behind “First Omen” leading the project.
Hunter Schafer — best known for her role on the HBO series “Euphoria” as well as the film “Cuckoo” — along with Emma Corrin — “Nosferatu and “Deadpool & Wolverine” — and Sophie Wilde — “Talk to Me” and “Babygirl” — are set to lead the project from Arkasha Stevenson, who is directing and also co-writing the script alongside Tim Smith.
Of course, Stevenson and Smith also worked on the very well received film “First Omen” which served as a prequel to the classic 1976 horror film “The Omen.”
The new project remains untitled but the story reportedly centers around a bachelor’s party that spirals into pure terror.
The cast is also expected to include Havana Rose Liu, Josh Hutcherson, Frank Dillane, Caleb Landry Jones and Whitmer Thomas.
Of course none of the main actors involved are strangers to horror but there’s not much else known about this project outside of indie darling studio A24 producing.
In addition to “First Omen,” Stevenson has also worked as a director on several TV series including “Brand New Cherry Flavor,” “Briarpatch” and “Legion.” “First Omen” was her first feature film and while the movie didn’t blow the doors off the box office — it made around $54 million on a $30 million budget — there was no denying the talent with the filmmakers involved.
Now Stevenson and Smith are teaming up again for the new untitled horror film from A24 with more details still to come once production gets underway!
