In the latest episode of Rewind of the Living Dead, we’re going to go ghost hunting and hope we can find our long lost sister as we review the 2025 film “Shelby Oaks”…

Chris Stuckmann came to fame as a YouTube influencer and film critic amassing over 2 million subscribers and more than 779 million views on his videos but he eventually decided to he wanted to cross over and actually write and direct his own movie.

He was inspired by a personal story of his own after he grew up as a Jehovah’s Witness and he was separated from his sister for over a decade after she was excommunicated from the church and he was told that she was “spiritually dead” to him.

He was only 12 years old at the time and obviously didn’t understand why.

After leaving the church himself and reconnecting with his sister years later, Stuckmann decided to use that story to parallel his own script about an older sister named Mia who desperately tries to find her younger sister Riley after she goes missing years earlier.

Stuckmann used his own surroundings after growing up in Ohio, which is often regarded as the state with the most haunted locations in America, and he set his film in a small town where Mia goes looking for her sister and what she finds is terrifying …
